When we use the recent I94 (from the H1), do we need to say "were you inspected by an immigration officer?" as "yes"?
The start date for this should be the date of entry at the airport or the start date on the recent I94?

Hi,
I looked at the list of civil surgeons that approved by USCIS. I called some of them and everyone told me differently in pricing. The basic I693 test would cost around $$220, and if i need vaccines, It would be an addition cost. Like some said the MMR vaccine would cost $120, the other said $50
Lot of them said the cost for chicken pox vaccins is around $120 ( I dont have insurance). My parent is not really sure if I ever have chicken pox or not so incase I need one, DO you know where to get those shots cheaper? Thank you for your time!

I think it is not the company but the service provider's gateway address. This usually happens in Iselin, Edison - NJ areas where there is a huge concentration of immigrants. USCIS is probably tracking and blocking the IPs.

Yes you can apply for EAD(I-765)/AP(I-131) anytime during 485 pending and send the notice/fedex tracking as a proof for it if required.

Hi All,
I got RFE on 485(field in Dec 2004) in last month for TB Skin test and employement letter. My PD is not current but INS is processing my application. I am waiting for physical notice from attorney. I have dependent whose AOS is not filed now I can not file due to retrogression.
With July bulletin my PD becomes current I am ready to file AOS to my dependent. Offcourse not sure that once I submitted to attorney how soon he will send to USCIS.
I have question that which one is best option to file dependet's AOS?
Submit dependent's AOS with evidences to RFE ? Means in same cover?
or
Submit dependent's AOS and evidences to RFE separatley?
Please advise.

Here is my case
I came to US in Aug 2005 on F1 and My I-94 was till Duration of study.
I graduated and my OPT was from April 27th 2008 till April 26th 2009
MY company applied for my H1 on April 1st 2009 and got it approved starting Oct 1st 2009 ...but i got I 797 B ( which does not have an I-94 and is H1 approval without change of status) instead of I 797A.
I 797 B is H1 approval without change of status, My employer applied for amendment on May 2009, but again i got I 797 B instead of corrected I 797 A with a start date of october 1st. Same thing happened 3 times and now i got I 797 B again and my company says that they are going to file for the change of status again but its already November and i dont know what to do.Wanted to know if somebody has gone through the same situations and If i go to India(Chennai) for stamping what would be the problem.
what should i answer if visa officer ask's me about what have you done from April 28th 2009 tilll October 2009 and as you were not in OPT or in H1b why did you stay in US...

My pending I-140 (filed an year ago...June 2006) was transferred from TSC to NSC on 09/05/2007, because my I-485 was filed with NSC. What date willl NSC use as received date to process my case...the date they received from TSC or the original receipt date?
Isn't it(140 filed at TSC almost an year ago) supposed to be certified by now?
TSC has been much faster at certifying 140s . Looks like USCIS is transferrring the 140s from TSC ... I can only pray for alll concurrent fileres that filed at TSC ...

I've been waiting since 20th of December. Thats when they (NSC) received my documentation reply.. and still no news!!! Have heard that NSC were on vacation (December and January), they just returned ... That's too bad!

At last glance, Arizona was in the throes of a massive budgetary crisis. Arizona's economy simply cannot afford to absorb the costly litigation that this ill-conceived legislation will certainly produce. Moreover it sets a bad example for other states to pass similar bills. Already other states like Ohio and Utah are entertaining similar legislation. They do random inspection on applications. Some people who have no work permit are being inspected if they are working illegally and some are found to be.....even if they do not accept pay or just saying they are volunteers.....
I guess you're being inspected. If you're not working without a work permit, you should be ok.

When E-Filed my EAD Reniewal , I didn't filled these fields (14. Manner of Last Entry & 15.Current Immigration Status) as they are not mandatory fields.Will there be any problem with my application?Anybody on the same boat?If so can you share your experiances?

Samething happened to me. On 11/25/2007 i saw a LUD on my approved I-140 (which was approved in Dec, 2006). And then LUD on 12/06/2007 and 12/07/2007 on I-485 for both self and spouse.
Not sure what it could be?? I filed I-485/EAD/AP in late July, 2007. Have received EAD and have done finger printing. Have not received AP yet. Filing Center in Nebraska. My PD is October, 2005, EB3 ROW.

Honestly, if the Democrats lose this seat, it is because of taking their voter base for granted.
Hopefully, this will light a fire under them and make them more focused on their promises.
I agree that if they lose this seat, it will be the end of CIS and it will be hard to pass any meaningful legislation for us either.
