    this is great, even after working with acrylics for a while, my portraits never got better than this!

    blending acrylics = very very hard


    I can't seem to resist contests, lol. Anyways... here is my first attempt at a portrait with acrylics. Its 8x10". :)

    I did some research and found out that American sentinel is not in Sevis approved list:

    Check out the universities that are approved by SEVIS.

    Accreditation and SEVIS and different entities. Hope this is helpful for others.

    We still in negotiation. not come to a stage where EAD has been asked for. i am wondering what else could they ask for other than EAD like do they need to provide any proof that they will sponsor my green card or do i need to file AC21 in advance.

    It all depends on Company. Most of the companies they just see EAD and take you.
    If that company has dedicated IMM people and IMM knowledge they might ask you for more information and they just want to make sure they don't need to support you when needed.
    You know it all depends and varies form company to company.

    Unless you know the outcome, you never know.

    Just be candid and talk to your employer. Sometimes they don't even know this as diff ppl in HR handle and interpret cases differently. I would talk to my employer.

    my employer has no clue whether it can be done or not. however i posted this same Q to my attorney. i am waiting for the response from him. If anyone else have any inputs, i would appreciate it.

    thanks for the info. I called the PP toll free number and was told that they will not do PP since I did not attach the original Lobor certificate with it. So I think I can expect my approval in a couple of weeks.

    Hi,
    In my case i filed for I-140 and had a notice to deny bacause they put the worng name on the application....:eek:
    we then refiled a second i-140, but processing was stopped on that because they needed the original labor cert. from my first i-140.
    i filed on 19th May, and finally got approved on 27th July, although i did file PP.
    So i would say a couple of months is about right for the labor cert. to be transferred from one case to another.

    Thank you for the reply. There was another thread that touched on this and it sounded like they were able to replace the button battery. It's not something that I would feel comfortable doing tho'!

    This appears to be more relavant given the need for rejuvenating the state chapters. Why not we have this as simple links on the main page itself and make it damn easy to join the chapter. The most important thing to do is to have the members join the chapters and have the contact numbers. Once these are there the IV state chapters could follow up and get the activities rolling with these members.

    Bottom line: Have the state chapter joining links on the main page and have it simplified for the members to join very easily ( kind of taking the name, contact number and email and nothing more) later the chapter core could get in touch with them and get the complete profile. A kind of marketing gimmick.

    Hi Members,
    I am pretty new to the forum. I thought you must be helpful answering my questions because attorneys in my company provided are not helpful.
    My attorneys filed Labor with the missing job information like in the allien job experience section. i saw the the current job start date is wrong then the job 2 is put with the wrong dates. Job 3 is not there. I got a audit as ******** is my attorney as special audit. when I contacted they said its electronically filed then can't change. They will take care in later stage.Then THE LABOR IS CERTIFIED. Now I see nothing has been taken care. they are filing I-140.

    Now my question is if i get RFE in I-140 in future and I send the experience letters obviously which will be different date( as labor is approved with aliens wrong info in experince).

    PLEASE members let me know the complication.. am getting really worried..Let me know what to do.

    USCIS would keep family pack submitted at same time together. In your case it seems like your applications got separated. Taking an INFOPASS appointment may reveal this to IO and you may ask that they confirm that your son's application is together with the family pack.

    That is depressing to know.
    Yesterday I have opened a SR using the Expedite Processing CSR Option by calling USCIS. Spoke to a good CSR who understood the mistake and opened a SR for correcting the EB classfication and expediting the case (sence USCIS Error is an option for Expediting cases). Lets see what happens with this.
    Also have a good contact now in Senators office, I already submitted a inquiry through their office and waiting for response.

    It often takes a few letters to be sent to USCIS before anything happens in such situations. It seems like USCIS sometimes disregards attorneys' letters. But once someone takes the letter seriously, you should see some soft LUDs on your case; although it does not always happen.

    My wife is on H4 and with recent events, we applied for EAD. Our EAD was approved a month ago. I recieved mine but my wife did not. When checked with USCIS, they informed I have to wait for 30 days.

    It would be great if the group can share thier experiances or has any advise on this issue?
